As part of our activities as the providers of medical services, we are legally obliged to collect and to save personal data. In accordance with Art. 13 of the EU-GDPR, we inform the data subject at the time of collecting the data. 3. Purposes and legal basis of the data processing
The collection, processing and storage of your personal data serve the purpose of the provision of medical services and invoicing for our services in accordance with the legal regulations.
The code of ethics for doctors, the regulations of the Code of Social Law and, in the case of the provision of radiological services, the X-ray regulations form the legal basis for the collection of data and the documentation and archiving obligations.
4. Data storage duration
In accordance with the legal regulations listed in Point 3, the collected data are saved for at least 10 years and for a maximum of 30 years.
5. Information regarding your rights
You are entitled to receive at any time information about which data are being stored.
You are entitled to have your data corrected at any time.
You are entitled to have the data deleted at any time provided this does not contradict any other legal regulations pertaining to its storage.
You are entitled at any time to object to the processing, the use and the transferability of your data. As part of the provision of our medical services, however, we are legally obliged to document and save your personal data as well as medical services provided to you.
You can lodge a complaint at your data protection supervisory authority.
6. Why we need your data
The collection of the necessary data serves the purpose of providing our medical services for the good of your health. Non-provision results us in not being able to provide treatment.
7. Data collection on our website
Our provider of the surgery website (www.gefaessmedizin.de) automatically collects and saves information in the so-called server log files which, depending on its configuration, your browser may automatically send to our providers. This information is:
– Browser type and browser version
– Operating system used
– Querying URL
– Host name of the querying system
– Time of the query
– IP address of the querying computer
